“Elon Musk has receded from Washington, but one of his most disruptive ideas about government is surging inside the Trump administration,” the Washington Post reports.
“Artificial intelligence, Musk has said, can do a better job than federal employees at many tasks — a notion being tested by AI projects trying to automate work across nearly every agency in the executive branch.”
While AI is smarter than MAGA, it’s not smart enough to manage the needs of a country.
And let’s face it, computers are heartless, unemotional machines that often struggle to put things in the right context. They are only as good or bad as the data particular (flawed) human creators put in.
And by the way, wasn’t the CEO of a large healthcare company killed for an approach like this? And isn’t his killer revered as a hero by many?
And how about those automated phone assistants?
I’m not a big fan of automated phone options. It always seems like my request is different than the options presented. For those who have experienced the frustration of navigating through automated answering systems when seeking help from a human customer service representative, I truly understand your feelings. It can be disheartening to spend several minutes caught in these loops, only to finally reach a human agent who resolves the issue swiftly and efficiently.
Look no further than this to understand why Elon Musk SHOULD HAVE NO ROLE in government. And as far as Donald Trump, well…. Most of us understood that a long time ago.
